Southern Bridges is a substance misuse recovery support service
Southern Bridges is a substance misuse recovery support service for people needing a safe environment for living in the Southampton. We also provide supported accommodation in Bournemouth delivering a safe environment for living to black and ethnic minority groups, gender diversity, and people from disadvantaged backgrounds.

Southern Bridges have expertise in this field spanning over 30 years, we are more than just a roof over your head.
We provide a range of support to help residents make that bridge from supported living to independent living. This can come in the form of:
-
Maintaining accommodation
-
Support with alcohol and substance misuse
-
Help to develop independent living skills
-
Managing finances and budgeting
-
Promoting access to statutory services through advocacy
-
Help with emotional wellbeing
-
Promotion of equal opportunities, fair access, diversity and inclusion
-
Access to education, training and volunteering to build self-esteem
-
Support in the gradual transition from a structured supported living towards an independent lifestyle
Our aim is to add to our resident’s quality of life, nurture confidence, build self-esteem, resilience and engage residents as part of a diverse community because together this makes us stronger.
We don’t know what kind of a life or upbringing our residents have been through. However together let’s unlock the reasons why and make a difference.
